THE SEVEN THUNDERS

The writings, contained within chapter ten of Revelation, are about to tell us that the Apostle John has been forbidden to reveal various messages given him by a voice coming from heaven and which are labelled the seven thunders.

This particular chapter of Revelation does not have any connection with any of the others, previous or following. It stands alone. It is about to tell us that God has decided not to reveal everything to us. Some things will be kept back from us until the day that we will be wise enough to understand other important spiritual truths. However, that day may have arrived because John seems to have given us the message of the seven thunders in another chapter of Revelation that we shall soon study.

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was wrapped in cloud, with the rainbow round his head ; his face shone like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire. In his hand he held a little scroll unrolled. His right foot he planted on the sea, and his left on the land. Then he gave a great shout, like the roar of a lion, and when he shouted, the seven thunders spoke. I was about to write down what the seven thunders spoke ; but I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said ; do not write it down."

Then the angel that I saw standing on the sea and the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by him who lives forever and forever, who created heaven and earth and the sea and everything in them. "There shall be no more delay ; but when the time comes for the seventh angel to sound his trumpet, the hidden purpose of God will have been fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets."

Then the voice which I heard from heaven was speaking to me again, and it said, "Go and take the open scroll in the hand of the angel that stands on the sea and the land." So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, although in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey."

So I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and ate it, and in my mouth it did taste sweet as honey ; but when I swallowed it my stomach turned sour. Then they said to me, "Once again you must utter prophecies over peoples and nations and languages and many Kings." Revelation 10 : 1 to 10 : 11

John saw an extraordinary angelic entity coming down to earth from the heavenly world with a countenance that shone like the sun itself. He came to us with the clouds of doubts and human uncertainties, he was the Spirit of Christ.

The spiritual entity brought with him a little scroll which was already unrolled, meaning that the information on the scroll had somehow being revealed. He then goes on to say that the great spiritual entity roared like a lion, meaning that he was one of the four living creatures of Revelation, he was the one who looked and roared like a lion.

We have discovered another secret of Revelation, the angelic entity who looks and roars like a lion also shares God's throne in the heavenly world.

God does not want John to directly reveal to the world the seven messages imprinted on the little scroll which seem to be carrying sweet messages at first hand but it turns out that its messages are very sour and very hard to digest, to accept. John's stomach is sick from the knowledge contained in that scroll, which he is told not to reveal to the world. John's sayings are a symbolical way of speaking.

Johns continues to write down other prophecies which are labelled Revelation. Is the content of those messages which are labelled the seven thunders to be kept from us forever?

We are nearing the end of scrutinizing the writings of Revelation. It will soon be revealed to you some truths pertaining to the information that the seven thunders contained and which could not be revealed to mankind directly. You will be surprised to learn that, although God has given a new Revelation to mankind, He has also decided to annihilate us all with the exception of His chosen few. He has promised to save them from the forthcoming world calamities. The messages contained in the seven thunders seem to be acceptable at first but, as we shall soon discover, it turns out to be a drastic decision that God has made concerning all of mankind on this planet. A similar decision that He Has had to make many times in the past.

This chapter has revealed to us that the Apostle John saw a mighty angelic entity coming down from the heavenly world. Was it the Holy Spirit who sits at the right hand of God in heaven? The heavenly Spirit presents John with a little scroll but he is told, from another heavenly voice, that he cannot directly divulge the content of that particular scroll.

The messages written on the little scroll seem to be sweet as honey when first scrutinized by John. However he discovers, after he reads the messages contained within, (swallows them), that they are very sour and that they make him sick to his stomach. The meaning is that the messages are hard to accept ; although, at first hand, they do not seem to be. Will John ever be allowed to divulge the content of the little scroll? We shall soon discover that the truth concerning the seven thunders is actually revealed to us in other chapters of Revelation.

When the angelic entity descended to this world, He planted one foot on the land and the other foot amongst the people, the sea of humanity. He shouted like a lion meaning that he represents the creature who looks like a lion. The description of the Lion represents the physical station of the Holy Spirit when he manifested himself to this world through a divine Messenger.

We have to remember that all four creatures, who are standing before the heavenly throne, are not sitting on individual thrones of their own. Therefore, it represents their stations in the physical world. In other words ; as it was said before, they were wearing another hat, symbolically speaking.

Why did God tell John about the content of the little scroll, the seven thunders, and then forbade him to write it down? Maybe the real reason is that He wanted us to search for the answers by ourselves. I strongly suspect that He has given us the information which we are looking for, but elsewhere.

The following presentations, the seven plagues and the seven bowls full of God's wrath, may be the message of the seven thunders. Perhaps God did not want us to discover the truth right away.

The majority of the people of this world have not taken the time to search for God. They most certainly would have, had they realized that He intends to destroy the earth and all that it contains. He will then give the earth a new start but this time with a new race of mankind. I strongly suspect that it may come from the multiple solar system known as the Pleiades where God's chosen will soon be taken. That multiple solar system is also referred to as the seven sisters by astronomers because it contains seven suns.
